Other Information:

When the rolling chassis was complete I also ran the new brake piping. This required a bit of an artistic licence to get the pipe work looking something like neat and the flares on each end were a pain to do, some took several attempts to get a decent looking flare.

I also rerouted some of the front pipe work as I didn't like the original runs where they ran under the chassis.

Also snapped off some of the wheel cylinder bleed valves so ended up changing one of the cylinders and getting service kits to replace the seals on the others.

When I removed the old shuttle valve and cleaned it up I thought some of the ports had been cross threaded, so I took a trip down to Cradock's and spent some time in a pool of oil under a part broken Landy in their yard removing this one (anything to get parts cheaper!)

When I returned home and compared the valves they were both the same, although I found that two of the ports were in fact a different size and not cross threaded. Meaning I now have a spare shuttle valve!

(This is a later picture with the engine refitted)
